Description

EQ-BNL-12D is a 10.75 mm ID pressing die with BN or Peek liner for electric insulation, which allows applying the electric field during pressing.  It is a good tool for  the Cold Sintering Process (CSP) of ceramic, Polymer, or ceramic-polymer composite materials for the applications such as microwave dielectric materials, solid-state electrolyte, and semiconductors;

Working Temperature
  • Cold Sintering Process with the high electrical field.
  • BN:  250oC
  • Peek:  180oC
Max Load
  • 9 Metric Ton (at room temperature), or 980 MPa
  • Note: BN liner is one-time use and not rated for strength.

Die and Punching Rod
  • In order to use the BN liner,  you must use the special die and pushing rod as the picture below  ( please choose from the product options bar)
     
Attention & Warnings
  • For the cold sintering press with the high electrical field experiment, the BN liner could be a one-time use. It is strongly recommended to get the spare liners
  • Max. the working temperature in CSP with the high electrical field is 450°C
  • The BN liners shall be stored in a dry environment inside a sealed container.
  • Never wash the liner with water. Use fine sandpaper or cloth to remove any dirt or residue.
  • Not suitable for use with Sb2O3, chromium oxide, molybdenumtrioxide, arsenic trioxide, titanium carbide, high lead glass glaze, boron phosphate, potassium phosphate, chlorine
Warranty
  • BN liner is for One-time use.  Please order spare BN liner for multi-testing at the product options bar.
  • Pressing Dies are consumable products and are not covered by MTI's warranty.
