Description

OTF-1200X-ASD is a compact split tube furnace with a max. the working temperature of 1200°C. The automatic sliding door ( flange ) is built in to open or close the flange automatic without tightening screws. Gas inlet & outlet valves and vacuum port are controlled by solenoid valves without manual operation. All actions are controlled by a touch screen panel or optional PC.

Vacuum Flanges & Vacuum Level	Left side flange is installed with gas outlet and KF25 vacuum port together with solenoid valves, which can be opened and closed by the touch screen panel The right side flange is installed with a gas inlet with solenoid valves and a quartz sample holder with baffles. The flange is driven pneumatically to close and open the right flange ( door) without manual operation. Vacuum level: 10-2 torr by mechanical pump and 10-5 torr by turbo-pump
Pressure Measurement / Monitoring	Standard mechanical vacuum gauge measures within a pressure range of -0.1 to 0.15Mpa are included. Optional: A gas-type independent digital vacuum gauge with a wide range between 3.8x10-5 to 1125 Torr.

Application Notes & Warning	Tube furnaces with quartz tubes are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.2 bars. Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1000°CThe flow rate for gasses should be limited to<200 SCCM (or 200ml/min) for reducing thermal shocks to the tube Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation.
