Water-Cooled Flanges

• Both top and bottom flanges have water-cooling jacket (See left picture), which cools and preserves the O-ring sealings on the flange during high-temperature operation

Gas Purification and Circulation (Optional)

• EQ-RMP-1 is an automatic moisture and oxygen purification and circulation system, which can provide a working environment with moisture and oxygen concentration < 1 ppm for MTI's furnaces and glove boxes. 

• Contains 1 column of BASF antioxidant and UOP moisture absorbent.

• Automatic pressure control system keeps the pressure at a constant range

• 6" color touch screen allows user-friendly control and dispaly of the status of humidity and pressure level

• Oxygen sensor and moisture sensors are included.

Hermetic Quenching Tank (Optional)

• Hermetic quenching tank is optional for air-sensitive materials, which enables the entire quenching process under atmosphere control

• The tube furnaces with mullite tube are designed for use under vacuum or positive pressure < 0.02 Mpa / 0.2 Bar/ 3 PSI (relative pressure)

• Never use graphite crucible in the alumina tube.

• Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.

• Never heat the furnace while the gas release valve is closed and a positive pressure condition (>3 psi) exists within the furnace chamber.

• The flow rate of working gas should be limited to < 200 SCCM ( or < 200ml/min )

• Mullite tube may may only be safely used up to 1300°C under vacuum conditions.
