Description
OTF-1500X-Z5 is a five-zone tube furnace with a mullite tube and SS vacuum flanges which can heat up to 1500°C. Each SiC heating zone is controlled by an independent temperature controller to create various thermal gradients for special processing in material research, such as gradient functional material, high-through phase transition and re-crystallization, etc.

Application Notes | - The tube furnaces with mullite tube are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.02 Mpa
- Never use graphite crucible in the alumina tube.
- Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Please click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
- The flow rate for gases should be limited to < 200 SCCM ( or 200ml/min )
- Vacuum limit definition for all mullite tube furnaces: * Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1300°C
