Arc Melting System with 3 Cavity and Casting Function up to 200g - AM-800-3

AM-800-3 is a larger and high vacuum arc melting system with three melting cavities ( crucibles) which have magnetic stirring ( around 80g),  vacuum casting ( round  150 g) and rectangular shape ( 200 g Max.).  The multi-function arc melting system can carry on various experiments to explore new generation alloy.

Melting Chamber	Vacuum chamber with water cold wall jacket made of SS304 The chamber size: 400mm Dia x 350mm height with quart glass window hinged type door in the front Vacuum level: 10 -6 torr via the included turbopump and baking heater. High purity ( > 4N) Argon gas is required for arc melting A tinted observation window on the front for monitoring the melting process A built-in mechanical manipulator for tilting and rotating samples without breaking the vacuum
Water Cold Copper Hearth ( Choose one for your application in standard package)	Option 1: the water-cooled copper hearth has 3 cavities with the different function ( see pic 1 below) Round cavity: 80g max. with magnetic stirring function built in the bottom to make alloy homogeneous. Round cavity: 150g max. with vacuum casting function built in the bottom ( casting mold with diameter 8 or 10 mm  is included .  please decide mold ID before purchasing, the extra mold is available upon request ) Rectangular cavity:  200g max.  melting only Optional 2： 4 cavities copper hearth is available for melting up to 600 g per charger ( see Pic 2 below),  Among them, one cavity has 1 mm hole to connect to water cold vacuum casting mold  ( mold diameter 5 -  8 mm is available upon request ( Pic. 3) The magnetic stirring function is available upon request at the extra cost (Pic.4)     ( Pic. 1)                   (Pic. 2)    ( Pic. 3) Pic. 4 Note:  The melting weight is calculated based on SS304 Optional: customized crucible design is available upon request.  Please provide a sketch.
Tungsten Electrode	Water cold W electrode: 9.5 mm Dia The electrode can swing at 150 mm radius to reach each cavity The electrode can adjust height  0 - 50 mm from the bottom cavity
Vacuum Pump  (optional)	The vacuum level is dependent on the vacuum pump used: 10^-3 torr via a mechanical/roughing pump. (Roughing Pumps)  10^-5 torr via a turbopump. We recommend our Turbomolecular Vacuum Pump Station for best performance  The vacuum pump is not included.  Please choose a vacuum pump system based on your application. Note: A high vacuum pump is not necessary for some alloys.  you may choose a mechanical pump and purge chamber by high purity Ar gas several times before melting if you have a limited budget.
Water Chiller & Gas (Optional)	Water cooling is required (not included) for the chamber, copper mold, and electrode. Please consider our KJ-6300 recirculating water chiller. ( 116L/min) High purity inert gas with at least 5N purity (>99.999%) is required (not included) 5% Hydrogen + 95% Argon gas may be used to prevent oxidation during the melting process
Compliance	CE certified UL/CSA certification by NRTLs is available at an extra fee.
