MSK-AFA-III-FSC is an economic flat slot die with a 100mm coating head. It is an excellent tool to research film coating for perovskitesolar cells, fuel cell proton exchange membrane, and the battery electrode.

Application Note	Coating thickness is not dependent on or equal to the gap between the slot die head and substrate. Usually, the gap shall be larger than the coating thickness. Coated thickness is strongly dependent on slurry viscosity, coating speed, and flow speed. ( Lower viscosity, low flow rate, and low speed will result in a thinner film。 Please practice finding the best parameters which suitable for you Example： 5% carbon+ polymer, viscosity: 500mPa·s, substrate: Al foil of 16 um, Gap: 200 um, Slurry feeding rate:: 0.1 ml/minute , Coating speed: 12mm/s Coated film thickness: 10 um +/- 2 um
