Description
MSK-AFA-II-HDS250 is an economic hybrid film coater with a vacuum chuck and bottom heater, which can make tape coating and slot-die coating via a special hybrid film applicator up to 550mm L x 200 - 250 mm W from 5 - 100 microns. . It is an excellent tool to research films of perovskite solar cells, fuel cell proton exchange membrane, and the battery electrode.

Hybrid Coating Head 
| - Film coating head consists of one fixed PTFE 250 mm width doctor blade and one 200 mm width removable slot die head ( click Pic. 1 below to see detail).
- The gap between the coating blade and the substrate plate is adjustable with +/- 1-micron accuracy via dual digital micrometers. (Pic. 2)
- Doctor blade: 250 mm width for minimum thickness of 0.010 mm film
- Slot die: 200 mm width for minimum thickness of 0.005 mm film
