The one-end closed quartz tube with CF type flange is designed for Ultra-high vacuum application up to 10e-6 torr via turbopump.   • Made of SS 316 
  • CF type to fit the included quartz tube only
  • Fluoro-elastomer O-ring
  • There are two feedthrough connections, KF-16 and KF-40
KF-16 could be used on NIST Traceable Anti-Corrosive Digital Vacuum Gauge or another similarity, and KF - 40 could be used on any fit in with the feedthrough, such as bellow tube for vacuum pump.

  • This tube and flange kit is designed for inserting MTI hybrid lab furnace as the picture # 1 below

Application Notes Ceramic Crucibles ( Alumina, Quartz and Zirconia etc )
  • Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1000°C
  • Quartz tubes are designed for using under vacuum and Max.positive  pressure must be < 0.2 bars / 3 psi / 0.02 MPa
  • For using the tube flange kit at a high temperature >500C,  the quartz thermal radiation block shall be used.
  • In order to get longer tube service life, Please use quartz or alumina crucible to carry the sample, instead of loading the sample directly inside the tube, please click the picture below to choose one crucible boat:
